When ordering a wedding dress from Elm Hill Brides, a 50% deposit will be required, which is non-refundable.
The balance must be paid in full on arrival of your dress. Monies are not refundable or transferable to other orders.
Once the order has been placed, you are committing to buying the dress. You will appreciate that you simply
cannot change your mind (Sale of Goods Act).
Elm HillBrides has the right to recover all outstanding amounts if the wedding is cancelled.
At the time of ordering your dress you will be measured, and your dress will be ordered to correspond with the
manufacturers size chart. Bridal dress sizes vary slightly from regular dress sizes.
Elm Hill Brides cannot be held responsible should your dress size change due to weight loss, pregnancy etc.
Please note also that dresses are made to order, as per manufacturers chart sizes,and are not made to measure.
All items must be paid for in full on order, or upon purchase on the day. They must be checked by the purchaser
before leaving the store, as Elm Hill Brides accept no responsibility for damaged items once they have left the premises.
All items are subject to special order and cannot for hygiene reasons be returned/exchanged or credited under any circumstances.
Sale gowns are purchased as seen. Alterations and cleaning are the responsibility of the purchaser.
A charge will be incurred for alterations carried out by our independent seamstress.
Purchases of all Sales Dresses are not exchangeable, and are non-refundable.
Elm Hill Brides recommends an alterations service, but it is an independent service provided by a fully
trained and experienced seamstress. Brides are not obligated to use the seamstress recommended by Elm Hill Brides.
Alterations may be carried out elsewhere if required. Elm Hill Brides cannot be held liable in regard to any alterations undertaken.
Alteration costs are not included with the purchase of the dress. The alteration price can only be quoted by the seamstress.
Please note alterations must be paid to the seamstress directly, and all dresses must have been paid for in full
before alterations can be undertaken.
If further alterations are needed due to change in shoes/underwear etc there will be an additional charge by the seamstress.
It is helpful if you bring shoes and any underwear being worn on the wedding day to your fitting.
